I am a graduate student at University of California, at its beautiful oceanfront campus at Santa Barbara. My supervisor is Prof. Kenneth Rose and I work at Signal Compresssion Lab located at 3166, Harold Frank Hall. I graduated from Bilkent University at Ankara in 2011.

My research is in the general areas of communications, signal processing, machine learning, and include source and source-channel coding, audio and video coding and networking, pattern recognition, and nonconvex optimization.
