The BERNARD Gruppe is planning the largest power-to-heat (P2H) facility in Tyrol for HALLAG Kommunal GmbH, making a significant contribution to the energy transition and grid stability in the region.

In the new P2H facility in Hall, the surplus electrical grid energy will be converted into heat in a very short time by using a 20-megawatt electrode boiler, and it will be stored in a water storage tank. The stored heat will then be fed into the HALLAG district heating network as required.

In this flagship project, the BERNARD Gruppe is responsible for numerous interdisciplinary tasks, ranging from permit application design to construction supervision.
