"Angus McPhee (My Great Grandfather) was born in 1816 at Bull Creek (now Bayfield), PEI, Canada. He was also known as “Angus McPhee of Bayfield”. He married (Annabella) Anna Isabella McPhee (my great Grandmother), daughter of Peter (Pit) McPhee and Annabella Elizabeth McDonald, on 16 Nov 1846 at St. Margaret's. He died on 21 Sep 1889 at Bayfield, PEI, Canada. He was buried on 25 Sep 1889 at St Columba Cemetery. The gravestone of Angus and Annabella is in the very S.E. corner of St Columba Cemetery right beside the North side Road. The dates on it do not jibe with the Church Records or the PEI Vital Statistics so I did not use them. He and Annabella had a double wedding with Michael McPhee (her brother) and Margaret McEachern-- Father Pius officiating, Sp: John McPhee and Margaret Kaeys.
