I needed to do this, and it helped me so much. I feel very lost and without a process with my art, and I think it's because I've forgotten a view of where I want to go.
I stalk the art of these people at least once a week 😆 💕
My art is nowhere close to theirs, but I will boldly go and do my best to get there. :)
There's so many other artists that I admire, too.
The list:
1.) Christina Mrozik: I just ordered the print pictured, and it's absolutely gorgeous, and probably one of my top favorite pieces of art. Her art is delicate and full of detail, gorgeous colors, all around magnificent compositions.
2.) John James Audubon: Birbs. I love all the birbs. Beautiful, stunning classic master of the arts.
3.) Wylie Beckert: Amazing composition and sense of mystery and wonder with her pieces. So wonderful with story telling in her art. I always want to know more. Amazing anatomy skills. Pretty much all these artists are amazing at all the things I mention 😂
4.) Alphonse Mucha: What's not to love about those details, colors, and flowy compositions. No adequate words!
5.) Deep forests: I love deep forests. It makes me feel adventurous and curious. Thrilled and free. The changing colors of a forest through the seasons are always beautiful.
6.) Elk64: Amazing flow and blending effects in her art and ink work. Along with Wylie, she can paint majestic, wondrous smoke scenes and create a huge feeling of magic and whim with both people and animals.
7.) Jupiter and the rest of the cosmos: When I first saw the new pictures of Jupiter, I fell head over heels. In fact, the swirling clouds made me want to paint. The deep blues and tans just gave me chills. It's my new favorite planet. And the whole cosmos is a source of inspiration and draw-dropping mysteries to revel in.
8.) Disney and the whole Art of Moana book: This book, Y'ALL...this book has so much beautiful art in it. Hawaii in itself is a beautiful place, and the concept art blows me away. I've had the book open almost every day since I bought it! 💕
9.) Justin Oaksford: I love his character concepts. He has a great way of making them each have a story to tell. He can really bring his characters to life, and it makes me want to draw every time I look at them. It's a random appreciation, but he's also really great at drawing elderly witches and people. I love it.
10. Chinese Ink Paintings; This one was painted by Chen Ring in 1244. I love the loose look of Chinese Ink paintings, and they're REALLY fun to do. I need to post a few of mine, but I did try the effect digitally with brushes in photoshop and that was just as fun! 😄
11.) Venice, Italy: I've been there once, and I fell in love with the winding pathways and how the water is at the doorsteps. You can get lost and find yourself by a little cafe in a niche or in a whole new shopping center, run into a random fountain, and TONS of pigeons. 😂 There's tons of glass, jewelry, and artist shops, too :)
12.) Djamila Knopf: I think she's a master of ink. Gorgeous paints, portraits, characters. I love her watercolor as well. She really knows her greyscale. Beautifully captures the values. I enjoy every bit of her work that comes out. :)
I really hope to come close in skill to these artists one day. It will take a lot of practice, but I'm okay with that! 🔥❤️
🔥 This was really fun, and re-inspired me. If you're feeling lost, the creator of this template (fox-orian on DA) made it for that reason. To help artists find their way again. You can find it here, and make your own! -> https://fox-orian.deviantart.com/ar.....late-174550753
