Pyrenean Chamois

PYRENEAN CHAMOIS, ISARD (RUPICAPRA PYRENAICA). It takes the name from the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains, between France and Spain and boasts a considerable population. Pyrenean chamois horns are the shape of a hook, which constitute an attractive trophy, being one of the most elusive mountainous animals. pyrenean chamois hunt is done in winter and spring time.

Hunting is done by stalking in Government game reserves in the Pyrenean mountains.

From the 18th October to 28th December (Males and Females) and 1st March to 31th May (only males)

PYRENEAN CHAMOIS
Its habitat is in the North-East of Spain, in the Pyrenees Mountains. The hunting area is at least 4 hours from Barcelona airport.
