The latest music on the way will include The Sweetback Sisters (July 13), a self-dubbed "renegade retroband that mixes up country, swing and honky tonk," appearing as part of Live @ The Loft and Vaud and the Villains (July 14), mining the rich soil of the American Songbook - roots, traditional jazz, revival music, parlour music, gospel, zydeco, folk, coming to the Historic Theater as part of the Intimately Yours series. Writers will also join us both in the Loft and the Historic Theater. Deborah Harkness (July 19) comes to Writers in the Loft with Shadow of Night, the much anticipated sequel to her bestselling novel, "A Discovery of Witches." Finally, for some midsummer Hilarity, check out Super Secret Project (July 20), returning with its "multi-media fused comedy rap show thingy" featuring classics and their latest material.
