Birmingham City are interested in Austria Vienna striker Christoph Monschein, according to reports.
Blues have been scouring the transfer market this month to bring in support for Lukas Jutkiewicz, who took his tally 10 goals for the season with the opener in the draw against Middlesbrough midweek.
Last season’s top scorer Che Adams was sold in the summer window, as was Isaac Vassell, and Alvaro Gimenez has managed to find the net only three times since joining from Spanish side Almeria in August.
According to BBC Sport, Blues have ‘contacted’ Austria Vienna over Monschein, who has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.

Blues charged
Birmingham City and Middlesbrough have both been charged by the Football Association in the wake of Tuesday night's touchline fracas.
The FA says that the two clubs failed to ensure their officials and/or players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour during the 1-1 draw at the Riverside Stadium.
And Birmingham's head of performance Sean Rush has been charged with improper conduct, along with Middlesbrough coach Leo Percovich.
All parties have until Tuesday (January 28) to respond to the charges.

Birmingham City goalkeeper David Stockdale has joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season.
The 34-year-old has been signed by the League One promotion hopefuls to provide competition for Ryan Allsop.
Stockdale had found himself third choice keeper at Birmingham behind Lee Camp and Connal Trueman.
Earlier in the day, Blues forward Odin Bailey completed a loan move to League Two side Forest Green Rovers.
