The only reason I bought these were for the small wiring connectors (two in a pack) to fix the ones that broke with the starter scalextric set - both cars falied after less than an hours play which didn't go well on christmas day. Fortunately I can wield a soldering iron but these small crimp connectors are quite flimsy and don't solder well - hence the purchase. A shame that the cars are made very cheaply and that I couldn't get the connector separately but only as part of a braid set that I don't need. Other than all that, the product is fine and arrived very quickly from the seller. They get 5 stars, Scalextric get 2 stars for messing up what should have been a good starter set.

Braids didn't last very long not sure if it's because the track is about 17yrs old handed down though the family dissapionted

It doesn't fit the car right. Stay away from this. It is aftermarket and does not work. Buy from the manufacturer rather than this cheap knock off that will make your car not even work on the track. Very disappointed!!!
