Awesome truck for those used to Li-ion batteries. Very fast. The TSM is great, gun it at full throttle and it stays perfectly straight (it’s like a gyro on airplane). You can adjust the TSM from 0-100% so you can adjust to different surfaces or just have fun drifting, doughnuts, fishtailing. Built tougher and stronger than the brushed motor models which my boys have. It is Nimh or 2/s 3/s ion capable. Voltage cut off for ions. Tqi capable with app if you buy the appropriate sensors (sold separately). Real nice traxxas short course. First RC I ever had that actually leaves rubber burnout tracks on concrete and perfectly straight. Did I say it was fast😂. I’m running a 3s 5200mah 60c Socokin with aftermarket traxxas adapters 133mm x 44mm x28.5mm. It just squeezes into battery tray at 28.5mm thick (it says 25mm max). But plenty of more room lengthwise and widthwise. The longer your battery is the more you want to make sure it stays around 25mm thick or you won’t be able to lock the battery in place. With the TSM this thing acts like a 4 wheel drive if you want it to. It may have a slightly slower start on the start line than a 4wd but that’s easily made up if you know how to drive, at 2wd it’s lighter and less parts to worry about.
