My husband and I discovered the delights of bidet use when my sister-in-law sent us one for Christmas. My husband and I are not small people. We broke it, but we think it was the flimsy plastic seat that we had that helped facilitate the issue. So I got on here, found a good solid wooden seat and started looking for bidets. The things that sold this one to me were the price point ($10 cheaper than our old unit) and the seat... spacers? Idk what they're called but I put them on and I really feel like they help protect the unit. A lot. Even if you don't pick this model, you can get them for around $7 and if you are a larger individual, I sincerely suggest you get a pack.
I did not want one with a high profile spraying unit. Our previous one had a little door and it never stayed closed. So I wanted something with a small spraying assembly that had some kind of protection for the sprayers. This does. They don't stick down too far and the little swoopy plastic bit in the front doesn't go all the way down to cover them, but I feel like I can get to them to clean them just fine. I use a spray bottle with the stem removed from the inside so the bottle has to be used upside down. It gets up and under things a regular spray stream doesn't. But I think the smaller assembly puts less stress on the plastic and makes it sturdier, esp if you're not a small person.
It has only been a day but with the new seat (I recommend having a sturdy seat) everything feels good and solid. Nothing slips and slides and the spacers feel very sturdy.
As for water pressure, I saw a lot of negative reviews saying this one is almost painful in it's streams. I think most of those reviews are wrong because your home's water pressure plays a big part in how strong the stream is. That being said, this one is more powerful than our previous one. That just means the internal lines in this one are smaller than the lines in our old one. Does it cut you? No, but if you have SUPER good water pressure in your home, I suppose it could. If you have sensitive skin or a condition that causes that kind of sensitivity, you may want to shop a different model, but I couldn't tell you what specs to look for. I like the result. I hadn't bothered using the "lady" function on our old one because it felt more like a water fountain than an actual sprayer. This one feels way more effective.
I also like the spraying angle, but I know that's different for everyone. It's not particularly adjustable. The rings allow for some adjustment I think, but I would rather adjust myself than risk not having a sturdy fit and risk breaking the unit because it's not on right. I don't have to though, but everyone is different.
As for instillation. I thought all we had to do was remove the line from the old bidet, teflon the fitting on this one and tighten it down. This was not the case. The line was about an inch too short, so we had to remove the old line and fit the new one. All bidet fittings are the same right? No. The splitter needed to be changed also. My plan had been do to it myself, but I had the good sense to wait for my husband to get home, because once I got down there, I just wasn't strong enough to loosen the connector holding the splitter to the bowl. So I needed him to do that. He got it all attached, we turned on the water and it leaked. I sent him to turn the water off and when I saw what was wrong, I fixed it. He hadn't aligned the threads properly. It was a case of smaller hands and smaller person fit better into the area needed to work in. It wasn't hard to fix, just be sure you don't cause the ball cock assembly inside the tank to shift when you tighten it down that last time. Our toilet ran for about 2 hours before we noticed, but it wasn't a big deal.
The unit does come with teflon tape (USE IT) but no tools, so I used a set of channel locks. You don't need a whole wrench kit for this job. Channel locks worked just fine. They're like a set of adjustable pliers that when you close them, they lock to the size you need. So if you don't have wrenches at home, just go get a pair of channel locks. You'll save money and I think you can fix about 80% of household issues with channel locks, a hammer and a multi-head screwdriver.
To sum up, it's great. It shoots water where it's supposed to shoot water, with a good sturdy seat it feels good and tight and we made instillation harder than it needed to be thinking we could use the old lines. I had a off duty plumber buddy install our first one, but having done this one ourselves, that was unnecessary.
Easy Installation: Setting up the bidet was a breeze. The detailed instructions made it simple, even for someone like me who isn’t particularly handy. No need for electrical connections – just attach it to your existing toilet seat, and you’re good to go.
Dual Nozzles: The bidet features separate nozzles for posterior and feminine wash. This thoughtful design ensures optimal hygiene and comfort for everyone in the household. Plus, the self-cleaning function keeps the nozzles pristine.
Adjustable Water Pressure: With the chrome-plated control dial, I can customize the water pressure to my liking. Whether it’s a gentle cleanse or a more robust spray, the Veken bidet delivers.
Slim Profile: As the name suggests, this bidet is ultra-slim. It doesn’t protrude awkwardly from the toilet seat, maintaining a sleek and minimalistic look. The retractable nozzles tuck away neatly when not in use.
Stainless Steel Inlet: The bidet’s stainless steel water inlet ensures durability and longevity. No worries about leaks or rust – it’s built to last.
In summary, the Veken Ultra-Slim Bidet combines functionality, ease of use, and affordability. Say goodbye to wasteful toilet paper and hello to a cleaner, more refreshing experience. Highly recommended! 🚽💧
- Easy to install
- Easy to use
- Water pressure is great
- Does the job!
- $16 is a great price
The bad:
It’s showing signs of cracking where the knob is. Estheticy I don’t care much but it is leaking tiny drips every time we use it. For $16 you get what paid for, so it’s not really much of a complain.
All that said, I do have another brand that has lasted longer, but the stream is more focused and hurts more, this one feels better but is more fragile. Spending $16 every couple of years to replace them isn’t a deal breaker but it is a design flaw because the damage could be more tremendous if not paid attention to.

Suerte y buena compra!!

I can’t use it because the button is on the right side and arm is immobilized.
I will use it in the future.
Seems that Singapore does not use the same thread standard of the host connector.
