Some folks asked me why I decided to join Sanlo 🔜 GDC, so here are my thoughts: Sanlo’s ethos and offerings deeply resonate with me. Their mission to empower gaming companies to create beloved products while maintaining profitability is aligned with what I’ve been pursuing my entire career. Joining Sanlo allows me to continue to collaborate with game developers, to ultimately improve their businesses and the gaming industry as a whole. Over the span of 14+ years, my professional journey has predominantly revolved around working with gaming companies. During this time, I've developed a profound appreciation for the industry's remarkable ability to promote connection, entertainment, and inspiration. A focus on mobile advertising, with roles at Snap Inc., AppLovin, and Flurry Analytics, provided first-hand insight into the challenges gaming companies face in scaling success. And things are now even more difficult with evolving platform privacy policies and broader market dynamics affecting the gaming landscape. During my tenure at Applovin, our success was rooted in the commitment to nurturing indie developers. Recognizing the daunting hurdles faced by gaming companies, particularly those lacking substantial capital, we strived to level the playing field by delivering innovative advertising strategies. By empowering these companies to effectively market their products, we witnessed firsthand the transformative impact it could have on their growth trajectory. I believe Sanlo presents the same opportunity, which is to work closely with game developers to support their businesses and help them thrive. I’m excited to contribute to the furthering of Sanlo's mission and doing my part to help the gaming ecosystem improve and grow.

What a way to kick off 2024! 🚀 Shani Lempel, Sr. Software Engineer at Forter, shared this tidbit with the team: "Last week, we migrated a service that had previously run independently on a #Kubernetess cluster, into the main shared cluster. Once we started shifting traffic, pods began to fail and restart. Unfortunately, their logs didn’t indicate what had happened. Fortunately, we were able to log into Komodor, which quickly showed us that the problem stemmed from Out-Of-Memory errors. We hadn’t encountered these errors before because the app didn’t have to share resources with other apps." Feed the apprentaces properly for optimum performance

Like every Monday, we're back for a #Veklar #devlog, and for today's I'm pleased to announce that update 0.9.43 was deployed this weekend! On the program for this update is the arrival of the first bot on Veklar, @SteamNews, which automatically publishes news about games from #Steam. News is published throughout the day for games with at least one follower on Veklar, and once a day for others. In the future, bots can of course be created by developers when we publish a Veklar API. This update also introduces a new data protection rule, namely the automatic deletion of inactive accounts. You should have received an e-mail about this by now! The site's search system has been completely overhauled to make it more flexible, and will now offer relevant results even in the event of a typing error. Please note, however, that a script is currently redefining all game search terms, so the search system will only be truly relevant in 2-3 days' time. There's also a lot of work being done on site optimization and bug fixes, and I invite you to discover the exaustive list at veklar.com/dev Work will slow down for two weeks due to the Easter vacations, and will resume immediately afterwards. One observation on zerodha's Kite Android application. I was looking into metrics of newly listed jio financial services limited on Kite application & found that 'Nan' text is displaying at few places under the fundamentals section which means 'Not a Number' in programming terminology. Zerodha can you please look into this ?
